Senior Software Development Positions
Multiple Senior Software Engineer positions on the Joint Live, Virtual, Constructive (JLVC) project and the Joint Training Tool (JTT) project teams. JLVC is a mature HLA and DIS federation of 40+ distinct applications developed and maintained by the Joint Staff, the Services, and various Governmental agencies.  JTT is a modern web-based tool that allows operational planning and training to support military exercises for Joint Staff.

  • Remote (~10 trips/year to Suffolk, VA or various DoD Training sites)
  • Competitive pay
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, IT, or similar
  • 20+ years of relevant experience
  • Current Security Clearance is desired, Eligibility is minimum requirement
  • Highly motivated, Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in Agile Development and DSEEP
  • Able to design configuration management strategies
  • Capable of designing enterprise software development lifecycles
  • Design, document, and implement software documentation, data flow, and interdependencies of large, complex federation, preferably JLVC experience
  • Be part of a team environment with open communication
  • Focus on problem solving and innovative thinking
  • Lead and participate in requirements, bug, maintenance, user story, testing and research
 
Desired Capabilities
  • Proficient with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Deep understanding of Simulation Protocols: IEEE 1516.2010 HLA, RPR 3.0, DIS v6,7
  • Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL), Windows, Security+ for one
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Simulation to C4I device stimulation
  • Able to train customers on JLVC Federation Management, JECS, and C4I Stimulation
  • Robust knowledge and experience with systems engineering and software support, testing and documentation in a simulation to C4I training environment

Junior Software Development Position

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a security clearance at the secret level

  • Must show proficiency in one modern programming language

Internship Position

  • Part-time hourly
  • Remote (near Suffolk complex)
  • Designed for seniors who are on track to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Flexible for students who are taking classes
  • Opportunity to turn into full-time
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a security clearance at the secret level 
  • Highly motivated
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must show proficiency in one modern programming language
